Panera Breakfast Menu & Hours

Most Panera cafes serve breakfast until 10:30 AM on weekdays and 11 AM on weekends. Panera gives no single start time: it says breakfast runs from opening, and hours vary by cafe. Below are all 43 breakfast and morning items from its nutrition guide with photos where they match, calories, protein, carbs, fat and sodium.

Breakfast allergens and wheat

The Breakfast section of Panera's Allergen Guide (valid for 9/2/2026) has 25 rows. 17 list wheat as Yes. The rows with a blank Wheat cell are Broccoli Cheddar Frittata, Egg Styles - Scrambled Egg or Egg White, Five Cheese & Bacon Frittata, Fruit Cup, Hard Boiled Eggs, Parfait- Greek Yogurt with Berries, Steel Cut Oatmeal with Strawberries & Pecans, Steel Cut Oatmeal with Strawberries - Without Pecans. A blank cell is not a gluten-free label: Panera does not designate any item gluten-free. Yes means Panera lists the allergen; May means "May Contain"; a dash means the guide prints nothing for it.

Panera says it cannot guarantee that any item is free of allergens because of shared equipment. If you have a food allergy or celiac disease, read what Panera says about gluten and use the full allergen menu, then confirm with your cafe.

What is new in 2026

  • Asiago Bagel Stacks

Panera introduced three new Breakfast Bagel Stacks: the Wake-Up BLT on the new Asiago Everything Bagel, the Farmhouse Duo on the Asiago Bagel, and the Sausage & Egg on the Asiago Bagel. Panera's press release is dated January 13, 2026. The three stacks are in the nutrition table above.

  • Frittatas

The catering menu labels its frittatas "NEW!". Both frittatas appear in the guide's Breakfast section and are shown with authentic, dedicated food photography representing each individual baked egg dish. Items shown may not be available or may vary by cafe.

One breakfast sandwich without a nutrition table

Garden Avo & Egg White Sandwich is printed in Panera's Allergen Guide as "Garden Avo & Egg White on Multigrain Bagel Flat" and appears in the Fall 2026 catering menu at 350 calories. We could not find it in the Breakfast section of the nutrition guide, so we show only that one calorie figure here and no protein, fat or sodium. Whether your cafe sells it is something only the cafe can tell you.

Breakfast prices

Panera's nutrition and allergen guides contain no prices, and prices vary by cafe and by how you order, so there is no single breakfast price. The home page's prices section has typical breakfast sandwich and bagel ranges, labelled as estimates with their sources. Your cafe's ordering screen shows what it charges.

What we could not verify

  • A national breakfast start time. Neither Panera page gives one; they say "from opening".
  • Whether weekends end at a different time everywhere. One Panera page says 11 AM at most cafes on weekends; the other lists only 10:30 AM.
  • Which individual items stay on the menu after the cutoff. Panera names the Cinnamon Crunch bagel and Chocolate Croissant as bakery examples; it does not list every item.
  • What your cafe is selling today. Cafes can vary, and we cannot see the live ordering app.
  • Photos. All items feature authentic food photography, and 5 share a photo file with similar items and are labeled as such.
  • Coverage. The nutrition guide has 28 Breakfast rows: 19 are menu items on this site and 9 are extra rows (eggs, oatmeal without pecans, bread portions, and so on) copied from the guide. Bagels, cream cheese containers, the parfait, the fruit cup and hard boiled eggs come from other sections.

Breakfast FAQ

Panera Breakfast Menu FAQs

Breakfast timing, what is on the menu, and what Panera's guides can and cannot tell you.

What time does Panera stop serving breakfast?

Panera's Guest Care article (dated Jan 7, 2026) says most bakery-cafes serve breakfast until 10:30 AM on weekdays and 11 AM on weekends, and that hours vary slightly by cafe. Panera's "Breakfast Near You" page says: "Most Panera Bread cafes serve our breakfast menu from opening (times vary by location) until 10:30 AM." That page mentions only 10:30 AM and does not say whether weekends differ, so the two Panera pages are not worded identically. Check your cafe's page or the ordering screen for the cafe you plan to visit.

What time does Panera start serving breakfast?

Panera says breakfast is served "from opening (times vary by location)". It does not publish a national start time, so no single national start time is something Panera states. Each cafe lists its own opening hours; our Panera hours page shows how to find them.

Does Panera serve breakfast all day?

No. Panera says: "Our breakfast menu is unavailable after 10:30 AM, however you can still order some of your morning faves from our bakery." It names the Cinnamon Crunch bagel and Chocolate Croissant as examples. Panera's Guest Care article adds that breakfast sandwiches and baked egg souffles are not offered all day because preparation space is limited.

Is Panera's breakfast cutoff different on weekends?

According to Panera's Guest Care article, most cafes serve breakfast until 11 AM on weekends, half an hour later than the 10:30 AM weekday cutoff. Panera's "Breakfast Near You" page lists only 10:30 AM. Because the pages differ and cafes vary slightly, treat 11 AM as what most cafes do on weekends, not a promise for every cafe.

What can I order at Panera after breakfast ends?

Panera says you can still order some morning favorites from its bakery after the breakfast menu ends, such as the Cinnamon Crunch bagel and Chocolate Croissant. The pages we read do not list which items are cut off item by item, so we do not claim that every bagel, pastry, parfait or fruit cup stays available. Your cafe's ordering screen shows what you can order at that moment.

What is on the Panera breakfast menu?

Panera's nutrition guide (effective 9/2/2026) has a Breakfast section of 28 rows, and all are on this page. The main dishes are 11 breakfast sandwiches (Bacon, Egg & Cheese on Ciabatta, Bacon Double Take on Black Pepper Focaccia, Bacon, Egg & Cheese on Croissant, Chipotle Chicken, Egg & Avo on Ciabatta, Ham Croissant Benny, Ham, Egg & Cheese on Ciabatta, Sausage, Egg & Cheese on Ciabatta, Sausage, Egg & Cheese on Croissant, Egg & Cheese on Ciabatta, Egg & Cheese on Croissant, Steak & Wake on Ciabatta), 3 Asiago Bagel Stacks (Asiago Bagel Stack - Sausage & Egg, Asiago Everything Bagel Stack Sandwich - Wake-Up BLT, Asiago Bagel Stack - Farmhouse Duo), 4 souffles and frittatas (Souffle - Four Cheese, Souffle - Spinach & Bacon, Broccoli Cheddar Crustless Frittata, Five Cheese & Bacon Crustless Frittata) and 2 steel-cut oatmeal bowls. The section also lists egg portions and 6 bread portions. We add bagels, cream cheese containers, the parfait, the fruit cup and hard boiled eggs from other guide sections. Cafes can vary, so confirm what yours offers.

How many calories are in Panera breakfast sandwiches?

The breakfast sandwiches and Asiago Bagel Stacks in the guide range from 430 to 810 calories for one sandwich. The sandwiches alone range 430 to 620 calories, and the three bagel stacks 570 to 810 calories. Souffles and frittatas range 280 to 550 calories. Customizing an order changes these numbers, and Panera says it cannot guarantee the complete accuracy of its nutrition information.

What is the lowest-calorie Panera breakfast?

Among the main breakfast dishes in the guide, the lowest calories per serving are: Steel Cut Oatmeal with Strawberries & Cinnamon Crunch Topping, without pecans (230 cal), Broccoli Cheddar Crustless Frittata (280 cal), Five Cheese & Bacon Crustless Frittata (300 cal). Smaller items such as Egg Whites (30 cal) or a fruit cup are lower still but are portions, not full dishes. Calories are one measure only; this page makes no claim about what is healthy for you.

Which Panera breakfast item has the most protein?

Among the main breakfast dishes, the most protein per serving is in: Asiago Bagel Stack - Farmhouse Duo (34 g protein), Asiago Bagel Stack - Sausage & Egg (33 g protein), Steak & Wake on Ciabatta (32 g protein). Values are for one serving as listed in the guide, so a customized or shared order will differ.

How many calories are in a Panera bagel?

One bagel is 190 to 430 calories depending on the flavor (10 bagel rows in the guide). The guide lists a 1.5 oz container of plain cream cheese at 110 calories, and for the plain bagel the guide's "with plain cream cheese" figure is 110 calories higher than the bagel alone. Panera names the Cinnamon Crunch bagel among the bakery items you can still order after the breakfast menu ends.

How many calories are in Panera's steel-cut oatmeal?

Steel Cut Oatmeal with Strawberries, Pecans & Cinnamon Crunch Topping is 330 calories; Steel Cut Oatmeal with Strawberries & Cinnamon Crunch Topping, without pecans is 230 calories. Both are one bowl and list 8 g and 7 g of protein respectively. The guide does not say how the oats are sourced or handled.

What is new on Panera's breakfast menu in 2026?

Panera's press release dated January 13, 2026 introduced three Breakfast Bagel Stacks: the Wake-Up BLT on the new Asiago Everything Bagel, the Farmhouse Duo and the Sausage & Egg, both on the Asiago Bagel. Panera's Fall 2026 catering menu labels its frittatas "NEW!", and the nutrition guide lists both frittatas in its Breakfast section. The pages we read do not say whether every cafe offers every new item.

Is Panera's breakfast menu gluten-free or safe for allergies?

Panera does not designate any menu item as gluten-free. In the Allergen Guide valid for 9/2/2026, 17 of the 25 Breakfast rows list wheat as Yes and 8 list no wheat (Broccoli Cheddar Frittata, Egg Styles - Scrambled Egg or Egg White, Five Cheese & Bacon Frittata, Fruit Cup, Hard Boiled Eggs, Parfait- Greek Yogurt with Berries, Steel Cut Oatmeal with Strawberries & Pecans, Steel Cut Oatmeal with Strawberries - Without Pecans). No wheat listed is not the same as gluten-free, and Panera says it uses shared equipment and cannot guarantee any item is free of allergens. Use our allergen menu for every column and our gluten page for Panera's wording.

Why is the Garden Avo & Egg White Sandwich not in the nutrition table?

The Garden Avo & Egg White Sandwich appears in Panera's Allergen Guide (as "Garden Avo & Egg White on Multigrain Bagel Flat") and in its Fall 2026 catering menu at 350 calories, but we could not find it in the Breakfast section of the nutrition guide. We therefore show it separately with only the catering calories and do not list protein, fat or sodium for it. Items shown may not be available or may vary by cafe.

How much does Panera breakfast cost?

Panera does not publish breakfast prices, and they vary by cafe and ordering channel. Third-party price guides estimate breakfast sandwiches and oatmeal at $4–$9 and a single bagel at $1.60–$3.40. These are estimates, not Panera figures, and the sources are listed in the menu prices section on the home page (/#menu-prices). Check the price for your cafe on Panera's ordering screen.

Why do some items have no photo or a note about a similar item?

Where Panera's guide lists an item that has no picture in our library, we show no photo (0 items). Where the same photo file is used for several similar items, we say so (5 items), because the picture may show a different filling. We do not use a picture of a different dish. Checked October 31, 2026, against Panera's nutrition guide effective 9/2/2026.

Sources and how we checked

Numbers are copied from Panera's nutrition guide, row by row, and counts on this page are calculated from the same data. Statements about breakfast hours are quoted from the Panera pages below, with their dates where the page shows one. We last compared this page with those sources on October 31, 2026. None of these sources publishes prices; the price ranges on the home page come from separate, labelled sources.
